Wednesday’s Works - Aaron Jasinski
Filed under: art/craft and blah blah blah

Art has always been a big part of my life. As far back as I can remember I have liked drawing and crafting, anything where I can create. Over the years I have discovered so many talented artists out there, and I am constantly searching out more. One of my favorite things to do is explore new art online. The internet has to be the best thing ever for artists and art lovers. You have the entire world literally at you fingertips.

I have decided to chronicle all of the fantastic artists I find (or already love), and spread the word of their greatness. I am starting a weekly feature called Wednesday’s Works highlighting my artist of the week.

This Wednesday’s Artist is Aaron Jasinski.

My husband and I discovered him several years ago via his personal website. The website itself is a cool flash site with a portfolio of his art work and another of his music. How fair is that to be artistically gifted across the board? Anyway, I just fell in love with his work. His style is so colorful, with good doses of fantasy and lots of emotion. His paintings just seem alive.

He seems to update pretty frequently at his deviantART page, and I found this book which he illustrated that I am very interested in.
